Dr. Tanveer Majeed is a senior Cancer Surgeon with vast experience in Surgical Oncology [Thoracic, Hepatopancreaticobiliary & Gastrointestinal Oncology] besides being trained in Breast, Head & Neck, and Gynaec Oncology. After having completed Medical graduation [M.B.B.S] from Karnataka University Dharwad and Post Graduation in General Surgery [M.S � Gen Surgery] from the University of Mumbai, he pursued and completed a 3-year residency training program in Surgical Oncology as Senior Registrar (I, II, III) followed by a 6-month Specialist Registrar in the Thoracic Oncology and 4-month Fellowship in Breast Oncology at the prestigious Tata Memorial Cancer & Research Centre, Mumbai. Further to quench his thirst in Thoracic Surgery he underwent One-year training in Thoracic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery at Asian Institute of Oncology - Fortis Raheja Hospital in Mumbai.
